Solar and Battery Services Across the UK

Battery storage sits at the centre because most homes use power in the evening, while panels make the most around midday. As a result, many services below work better once a battery is in place. An installer does each job, so we do not fit anything ourselves.

Choosing between the services

If you want to store spare solar power, start with home battery storage. If you have no panels yet, solar panel installation or a solar and battery package lets an installer design both together.

Some services add to a system you already own. Smart energy monitoring shows what your panels and battery do, while smart tariff optimisation helps you charge when power is cheap. An EV charger installation adds a home chargepoint that can use the same solar power.

Off-grid backup is different from the rest. Many solar and battery systems switch off during a power cut, so backup is an extra feature. Ask your installer whether your quote includes it.

Why MCS certification matters

We arrange each service through MCS-certified installers. MCS is the UK quality mark for installers and products, and you need it to claim Smart Export Guarantee payments. Therefore it affects what your system can earn as well as how well the installer fits it.

What a quote should list

Whatever you choose, ask for a written quote that names the equipment, the system size and the MCS certificate. It should also say who notifies your network operator and who handles the warranty paperwork. Compare at least two quotes before you sign, because prices vary.

Ask each installer how long the work takes and what the warranty covers. Written answers let you compare quotes fairly, since two quotes can differ in scope as well as price.
