Most home electricity use happens in the evening — exactly the hours solar panels generate the least. Without a battery, the surplus your panels make at midday gets exported at a Smart Export Guarantee rate that's almost always lower than what you pay to import power back after dark. Every service below is arranged through MCS-certified installers, which matters beyond installation quality: it's the certification that SEG registration and most UK grant routes require, and domestic battery storage currently qualifies for 0% VAT in Great Britain until 31 March 2027, whether it's installed with solar or added later.
